Coastal SEO Manager and Google API Data
Coastal SEO Manager is a private, agency-operated SEO workflow and reporting application developed by Coastal Webmasters. An authorized agency user may choose to connect a Google account to retrieve information from supported Google services.
Google Information the Application May Access
Depending on the integrations enabled and the permissions granted by the authorized Google account, Coastal SEO Manager may access:
- Google Search Console properties and read-only search-performance information, including pages, queries, clicks, impressions, click-through rate, average position and indexing information.
- Google Analytics 4 properties and read-only website traffic and engagement measurements.
- Google PageSpeed Insights and Chrome User Experience Report performance information.
- Google Business Profile accounts, locations and business information when Business Profile API access is available.
- Basic Google account information required to identify and maintain the authorized connection.
The application requests only the Google permissions reasonably required to provide its connected features.
How Google Information Is Used
Google information is used to:
- Assign the appropriate Google properties to agency-managed clients.
- Pre-fill supported SEO audit tasks.
- Document objective supporting evidence.
- Create baseline and follow-up performance snapshots.
- Monitor changes in search visibility, traffic and website performance.
- Prepare agency and client SEO reports.
- Diagnose authorization or data-retrieval problems.
Google information is not used for advertising and is not sold.
Storage and Access
OAuth authorization details, client property assignments, retrieved measurements, snapshots and reports may be stored within the agency’s private Coastal SEO Manager installation.
Access is restricted to authorized users of that installation. The agency is responsible for ensuring that its users are permitted to access the Google properties and client information assigned within the application.
Sharing and Disclosure
Coastal Webmasters does not sell or rent Google user data.
Google information may be disclosed only:
- To the authorized agency and its approved users.
- To service providers required to host, secure, back up or operate the application.
- At the user’s direction or with appropriate consent.
- When required or permitted by law.
- When necessary to protect the application, its users or the public from fraud, abuse or security threats.
Service providers may process information only as necessary to provide their contracted services.
Data Retention and Deletion
Connected measurements, snapshots, reports and related project records may be retained while the agency uses Coastal SEO Manager and afterward when reasonably necessary for support, security, legal or business-record purposes.
An authorized agency user may disconnect the Google account or revoke Coastal SEO Manager’s authorization through their Google Account security settings. Disconnecting Google stops future retrieval but does not automatically delete previously saved project records, snapshots or reports.
Agencies may request deletion of their Coastal SEO Manager information by contacting sa***@***************rs.com. Subject to legal and legitimate business-retention requirements, information that is no longer required will be deleted, anonymized or securely disposed of.
Security
Coastal Webmasters uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information handled by the application. These may include access controls, secure HTTPS connections, server security, software updates, monitoring and backups.
No Internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Google API Services User Data Policy
Coastal SEO Manager’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Approved comments and their associated information may be retained for as long as the comment remains published.
